Down with the tempo vol. 2

The second volume of my DJ mix dedicated to downtempo, dub, and loungy ambiance. This time, it starts with some old soulful tunes from the 70’s only to delve into classic downtempo from the early 2000 with French band The Troublemakers. Then, the mix goes into bossa-nova style with Thievery corporation and Bebel Gilberto. This mix is lot more African-latin in terms of sounds but still is heavily smooth. It closes with two classics downtempo tracks from the 90”s NOW’s Les nuits and Les négresses vertes’s remix by Massive attack which dates back from 1993 ! Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it. PS : The last quote comes from this movie

Nightmares on Wax pretty-much invented chiilout. You need to hear SubMachena too, from Robin Taylor-Firth. Robin is also the keyboard player/programmer/songwriter with Nightmares on Wax.
SubMachena make big dirty dubs, with massive basslines and evil beats.
If you want to keep with the latin/dub feel, check out BudNubac, also featuring Taylor-Firth.
